The middle joint on this beautiful table had opened up due to the timber movement. So we needed to hand shape the two side so they made a lovely joint. We also needed to sand the table heavily to remove the old polish and to try our best to flatten it.
Finally to try to help prevent future movement issues we added a solid oak internal structure using traditional joints. Allowing further support for the top. Another happy client.
