Client wanted to turn there straight desk into a corner desk. The piece had great sentimentale value so they wanted to use what they already had, as best as we could.
So each unit was cut apart and glued back together to get the right sizes to give them the shape they requireed. even the draws had to be cut down. A completely new top was made to the correct shape with a cut out for cable access. I added bread ends to the table to helps keep the pine straight.
The hardest part of this was matching the colour and patina of the new pine down to the 20yr old pine. I mixed a custom stain up and used a coloured wax to match it. Over all I was really chuffed with the transformation.
