Client gave me a blank canvas to design and make something special. I had the luchen spider back chairs in mind when I started to design this piece. The clients wanted an oiled walnut finish with a minimal look but still something special. We went through at least 10 different designs till they fell in love with this one.
Getting the timber to bend round the curve was tricky as it was so tight. This process took a few attempts but I was very happy with how it all came together.
