The first box was an engagement present for my wife. The parquetry pattern is figured sycamore and quarter cut walnut. Inside lined in velvet. The second box was a present for my mum. Bubinga quartered panel all cut by hand on top with walnut sides and a fleece lined mahogany piston fit draw.
These boxes have been around for quite a while. They are heirlooms of the future.
